This is a must see when you are in Haarlem! Unbelievable, I could of sat there in front of the massive organ all day! Loved the gift shop too! Bought several things there, so did our two adult girls!

This was a most unusual church with over 1500 gravestones dating back as far as the fifteenth century. The organ is impressive and the ship models were unusual for a church to display. We were fortunate to visit during one of the vocal ensemble performances....More

We visited the Vatican in Rome for free. In Haarlem you have to pay to see the Chuck from the inside. That is not correct. Disappointing.

Wonderful church in Haarlem. The organ is a must see. We really enjoyed taking a tour of this church. There is so much history in this church. You will not be disappointed with this attraction. Doesn't take a long time to see everything.

Be sure to see the brass lectern in the shape of a pelican and the ship models from the 16th and 17 centuries. When you look at the organ, remember Mozart was only 10 when he played here.

We were very happy to visit Haarlem during organ festival and to be in Sint -Bavokerk at the time of rehearsal and later in concert. Divine place. Divine artists. Divine music.

Lovely church. I was delighted that they were warming up for an organ recital as it really made the visit for me. Staff friendly and the information leaflet was pretty good too.

Had a different feeling here which I felt before- from the paintings to the music they were playing. Must visit if you want to leave with some much curiosity.

This was by far one of my most favorite European churches. I could stare at that wooden ceiling all day. The workmanship is amazing. The organ is beautiful and was being played while I was there. This is a beautiful, beautiful church and worth the...More

I almost didn't go in. You think, "okay, it's another gothic church in Europe." Well, I am SO GLAD I did. The architecture is stunning and you can really appreciate it since there isn't a lot of other "stuff" cluttering up the space. The organ...More

We plan to visit on July 2 and there is a concert on that day. Does the admission fee to the church include the concert? If not how do we get tickets and can they be purchased on line in advance?

The concerts are indeed free of charge. All information is available in English on the website of the church. I can't put a website address in an answer on tripadvisor but you can easily find the site if you type bavo church... More
