The cathedral is gorgeous, the belfry is amazing, and very especially, the hall/court garden of the cathedral is a wonder, purely gothic stlye, extremely pleasant to go and rest here.

This area was beautiful to stroll around. Great restaurants near by and the cathedral is right in front. The tower was closed when we arrived so be sure to check out the time it's open.

Climbing the Domtoren is a must when visiting Utrecht. If the sky is clear, you can see up to Amsterdam! Nice tour while climbing the tower aswell.

An impressive medieval belfry stands in the middle of Utrecht to bear witness to centuries of restless history. Graceful as lace and imposing at the same time, it marks the centre of Dutch culture, together with theoldest university in Holland.

Very elaborate bell tower that sounds often - marvelous centerpiece of Utrecht cultural heritage. This opens to a large open courtyard/plaza with a WWII monument (1940-1945) at the side of the cathedral.
