This is an interesting collection especially of Marian themes but hard to follow for the English speaker because of the lack of an audio guide.

We visited this Museum by chance; luckily we visited the Maria exhibition which runs until 20 August. Really worth it- even though entry price is not cheap- but set up and infrastructure and setting worth the 2 hour visit.

If you are visiting the city of Utrecht before August 20th 2017, then visit this 'wonderful' exhibit in museum Catharijneconvent. Paintings and scuptures of the virgin Mary with or without child in old and modern/contemporary arts . Very interesting to see the contrasts.
