This is a small museum, just one room from Pilgrim times plus another room covering an older period. But the amount of information and interesting artifacts was quite large. As we were in the exhibit and not behind a rope, it was more meaningful to...More

From first glance this museum is fascinating, the giant totem outside to the visiting display of Japanese Fun gaming, I wish we had more time to browse. The display of Budda was calming and beautiful. What a well laid out mseum.

Don't bother...The brochure in the hotel said they were open on Wednesdays. I went there-- no, not open until Thursday. I returned on Thursday..knocked, rang bell, no answer. Went away, came back, repeat procedure. Finally I saw someone inside and knocked on the window. I...More

This museum is small... like two 15x15 rooms small. BUT everything in them is period appropriate. As you stand in these rooms you get to really step back and feel what it would be like to live in Leiden in the 1400's. The tour guide...More

It's easy to overlook this tiny museum, which is actually a two room old Leiden apartment, but you really shouldn't. It's full of interesting artifacts and more importantly - stories. Those are told with humor by the avid historian running the place. He was keen...More
