Model miniature city. Kids will love it, with lots for them to do (work a lock, put out a fire). Kids from The Netherlands will get to see the highlights of the city where they live and the other major locations that they know about but might have never visited. Kids and adults from elsewhere will get a birds-eye-view of... More

You might think of this place as an activity for children, but it is much more fun for adults who can appreciate the craftsmanship, the engineering and the small details. Besides visiting, I bought a supplement ticket for the 'behind the scenes' tour. If you are interested in the technicalities this is definitely not to be missed. Ask about an... More

I visited with some friends and was exciting, you can see the whole city in miniature and learn the city history. When I went there they had little figures of Pokemons hidden in the showroom, it was really cute for the kids that where visiting. You can you into the workshop where they build the miniture world, it is really... More

Firstly check their website for opening times as it has a few strange hours possibly cos it is low season. Inside they have a model exhibit of the city with moving vehicles and trains etc. What is nice is that the lighting is set to show the city over a 24 hour period. It will probably take an hour to... Great overview of Rotterdam now and in the past. Just hope that there are no schoolclasses in there, because then it's a bit too crowded....

You can visit Miniworld at Weena in the centre of Rotterdam and get a nice impression about the landscape of the Netherlands and the city of Rotterdam on a small scale. All characteristic and important buildings are reproduced. There are small trains driving through the landscape and city. Even day and night is imitated. It is great to visit it... More

You want to have a survey on the southern Netherlands, Rotterdam and the vicinity. Here you may have it, within a 30 minutes day and night shift, with landscape, beach, industry, cities and history. Naturally an abundance of railroad traffic.

Mini world is scaled down version of Rotterdam mixing the past and present. Our 7 year old grandson loved it and so did we. We wanted to stay longer but the bus was coming to pick us up for the return ferry to Hull. We will go back again.

That was a fun filled afternoon at Miniworld in Rotterdam. There is lots to see and for the kids there's stuff to explore too. The restaurant might need some rethinking in terms of lay out, but that's not what we were there for. All in all a fun afternoon at a very reasonable price. Check the group prices, it will... More
