The Museum has very a very interesting and diverse collection, presented in a great way. Interactive exhibits are great, and it is great fun for kids.

I was dubious at paying to enter as boats outside are free to enter and walk around to be honest not much to see outside. Spend the money and go in the offshore rig simulator was brilliant. Lots of activities and fun albeit difficult to...More

Very interesting. The place is interactive and you get to learn a lot about ships, oil platforms and new developments. The museum is small, and quick to visit. It is really good for children, will keep them easily entertained (also adults).

Love this museum since the 1970s. Good to see that they are really aiming to attract new generations. Good to see also what the see and ships meant for Holland

We had only 45 minutes to visit, but it was worth going. I could imagine spending hours examining beautifully made miniature ships and learning about historical figures. I would've loved this as a kid also.

We decided to go to the Maritime Museum when we planned our trip to Rotterdam and were not disappointed. We didn't know there was an "offshore experience" but this was surprisingly interesting, even for adults. The rest of the museum was very nice as well,...More

We were about to leave Rotterdam when we decided on the spur of the moment to go in. We were very pleased with the exhibits and displays - they even take you on an oil platform exhibit and show you how it operates. The model...More
