Nice place to hang around among flowers and nature. Theres a small cafe in the garden, nice and quiet to be there, enjoying the quiet afternoon out. You can use your rotterdam pass / museum card to enter for free.

If you're buying rare plants at a specialized shop in the Netherlands, big chance they are from this Arboretum. Besides the usual suspects it has a nice wild garden, an English tea room and a succulent indoor garden. Don't forget to visit the second garden...More

It was an overwhelming feeling to walk by the ancient trees and magnificent little bridges. The downside, at least for me, is that you have to pay a fee to get in. And I only arrived when it was about to close. But a must...More

This is a really nice place to visit, at least on a sunny spring day. You can enjoy a stroll through the garden's paths and admire so many different trees, flowers and plants. Relaxing, in contact with nature, I can definitely recommend it.

Very beautiful designed botanic garden. Worth visiting in every season. Lovely teahouse (with only short opening hours, which is a pity)

My girlfriend and I visited in June 2014 and, whilst we did enjoy the visit, we didn't find it as amazing as the reviews suggested it to be. At €6.50 each, we didn't really get anything more out of it than a few pretty pictures....More

What a magnificent garden! We were there when the rhodos and azaleas were peaking. If you are a real garden enthusiast you will truly appreciate the planning that went into this Eden. The sheep add to the feeling of serenity. Specimen trees throughout the arboretum.

It should be beautiful in the autumn, too. Very peaceful and serene. They have lovely items in their gift shop, too. Check out their website (trompenburg.nl), to help you find it, and with opening hours, etc.
