Yes, often very interesting photos and films of today’s photographers. And there is mostly another interesting exhibition of modern art too, apart from the ‘light art’
The museum is next to the Art Museum The Hague , so if you are still fit, visit both of them.

Having visited the Gemeentemuseum’s Erwin Olaf exhibition recently, We visited the Fotomuseum Den Haag’s twin exhibition with Olaf’s oeuvre. Compared to the Gemeentemuseum this exhibition concentrates on black and white photography. Aging, sex, gender, race are dominant themes and the work strongly echos the drive to technical perfection. It often parallels Mapplethorpe in themes and perfection.
Next to the main exhibition do not forget to visit Marwan Bassiouni’s ‘New Dutch Views’ that creatively combines Mosque interiors with Dutch urban and rural landscape exteriors framed in windows. Also worth noting is ‘Grid Connections’ by Gerco de Ruijter, which display artistic selections from aerial photographs. Orlof is in the Fotomuseum till the end of 16 June. Bassiouni and de Ruijter stay till September 1st.

Currently great Dutch photographer Erwin Olaf has it's exposition here celebrating his 60th birthday. Several series of famous photos of his controversy style can be seen here. Worth to go and visit here when you are a photography lover and enthousiast. Also visit the Gemeentemuseum next door where also an Erwin Olaf exhibition can be visited with another genre and themes of photography.

The exhibition, for which we came especially from Brussels, was superb. The entry price very high though.

We went to visit the Erwin Olaf retrospective in march 2019 but we were quite stunned to visit a so-called "museum" that has no permanent exhibition. Another huge surprise was the 23.50€ per person entrance fee for both this and the neighbouring Gemeente Museum. Ridiculous.

The present exhibition is an overload of photo's of Erwin Olaf. It did not catch me nor surprised me. To be honest I was somewhat disappointed. The photo's of Erwin Olaf do not really show the capture of a special moment, it is all too clean for my taste.

I go there five times a year; exhibitions change every three months and there's always two parallel ones

There were only small photography exhibitions on when we went so 9 Euros seemed a bit steep. However both shows were good.

Museum with a good lightning and cozy exhibition halls. A lot of space to view expositions and to not disturb other visitors. Very good and cozy restaurant.
