Lange Voorhout can be visited in the weekends when there is an open air book and antique market, but also enjoyed during week days to relax, stroll and dream away under the trees. The Hague used to have summer sculpture exhibitions here with international artists....More

All my life I have heard of The Hague a mysterious place on just about every international law enforcement show I watch so I had to go. Exceeded expectations plus had amazing sights like Lange Voorhout. Also it was close to the beach. Amazing.

Situated close to museums (Escher in the Palace and Mauritshuis), the tall leafy trees and wide footpath make for a lovely relaxing walk in the middle of The Hague - you almost forget that you are in the middle of a city.

This lovely walk is home to some recommissioned palaces, and also some embassies and hte Escher museum. There is a market on some days (including Thursday) and it is worth the browse.

The Hague, the chique residential city on its best! Houses, hotel des Indes for a high tea, restaurant Saur for superb fish eating! And a stroll over the antique market every sundaymorning!

a very green stretch in the heart of hague and reminds one of how important it is to have such greenery in the place where we live.
