If your so close and don't visit you will wish you would have because it is a gem of a statiuon. Lots of little things to marvel at but the grand staircase is what brings you here. One of the treasures that almost bankrupt Belgium. Sounds very french let them eat pomme frites.

Take a quick look while getting a Starbucks coffee at the same time. Very good looking building and the square behind it is also worth checking out

It was great to come back to Antwerp via their magnificent restored train station. It is incredible how they added new tracks deep underground to accommodate the Thalys, which can enter Antwerpen Centraal from 2 stories down & continue on to Paris or Amsterdam. Very clean.

I LOVE the way this station blends the old architecture with brand new additions. I feel they have not lost any of the old style in the renovations. I especially love the huge clock at the arrival end of the station. Great food, an easy walk to all of Antwerp.

I was in Antwerp to mainly look at the Jewish area but ended up falling in love with this station. I basically stayed in the station for 2 hours taking pictures!

Beautiful building a few metres from Diamond district. You can see three levels full of trains inside the station. There are several cafes, but all full of people.

Antwerp Centraal Station is a beautiful building dating from the early 20th century. It's the main train station in Antwerp. I consider it one of the most beautiful public places in europe. It's located in the city center and not far from a shopping area.
