The Magritte Museum is a must for anyone interested in the artist. It is multi-level in chronological order and includes excellent background on his life as well as an important sampling of his work at each stage of his career. Because of the museum's approach,...More

The paintings match with the theme of each floor of the gallery. However, the information of the paintings is not well exhibited. The audio guide is terrible that a lot of code is not valid. Good for surrealist!

My wife and I visited the Magritte Museum (part of the Royal Museums of Fine Arts) in September, 2017. It has the most complete collection of Magritte work we’ve ever seen. The museum is well organized and provides an excellent cross-section of his work throughout...More

I really liked the way this museum was set out. The gallery is organised in a way that means that you see the artworks chronologically. A lot of history about the artist as well as many of his artworks.

Well I do like Magritte's paintings but this was a whole museum dedicated to him. A bit OTT. Lots of letters and documents not translated into English.

Well curated and good collection. Magritte is a must if you're in town. There was just one thing I remarked. The lights (especially in the 3rd floor) create a weird halo and reflection on the painting making hard to see details from time to time....More
