This church was one of our first visits and is beginning renovations. You take away the uniqueness of this church with the slightly turned alter. The different prayer alters are beautiful and they did with wood, what Rome did with marble with the pulpit. Just...More

We stumbled across this church on the way to the Grand Place, the church has pretty nice interior and worth a stopover.

The most interesting feature of this church (to me) was that there is a bend in the main structure at the point where the nave meets the transepts (see the picture I have attached).

Walking around the city center, you can't miss the St. Nicholas Church. Entering it, you can feel the Gothic architecture and the history of medieval times.During my visit, a a very pretty miniature village with puppets was set inside the church.

One of my favourite places in Brussels for a reflection and prayer. It is a quiet place. This church has a character. Altar of St Nicolas is on the right hand site.
