Beautiful centerpiece of Brussels and on a sunny day it is great to sit, chat and have a gentle beer. Possibly one of the most expensive places to buy a drink in the city but worth a few euro extra to absorb the experience.

Beautiful area. Nice during the day but also at night when lit up. Go both times if you can! Lots of great photos to be taken! Enjoy!

It is so beautiful on a sunny day both day and night but could be very busy with students and tour groups. It is the greatest spot in Brussels.

Best at night, with a real carnival atmosphere on a warm evening. No town anywhere I've been has a square to rival Grand Place . Very busy with few places to sit but as far as I'm concerned you haven't been to Brussels unless you...More

It is said to be the most beautiful square in Europe. But alas it doesn't qualify. It is an irregular rectangle. Other than that, it is tres belle.

If you are staying in Brussels make it a point to go to this Grand place several times . It has a calm vibe early morning, an international appeal mid day, a magical glow in the evening.

Yes you can go at central taking metro 1-5 one stop. You can go also to Bourse taking the tram 3-4 ( pre metro) one stop. From your hotel is 10 min walk for the Bourse and Gare Centrale.
