Take a walking trip. It is a 2 hour walk. Worth the effort. It is free but you should tip the tour guide, usually a student.

Loved the architecture and a great place to people watch. Lots of little streets to get lost in coming off of the square.

Grand-Place is just one of those attractions you simply cannot skip. Beautiful buildings all around the square, surrounded with numerous restaurants and cafes and without doubt packed overly packed with tourists. It is overall enjoyable to take a sit there and try to take in the amazing scene as much as possible.

The Grand Place is beautiful, though very crowded with tourists. Definitely the sort of place to watch your pockets and your bags. At night, the younger set takes over and it does start to get a bit rowdy as the night goes on!

Beautiful square. Lively and fun. Wasn't there for the flowers but would love to return to see them.

De Grote Markt is truly marvellous. As many of us, I've seen pictures and postcards before, but once you are actually on it, surrounded by those pretty facades from all sides, its beauty fully dawns on you. We actually stumbled upon it by accident, as we followed one of the narrow aisles with a tower at its end (the Gothic... More

If you visit London, you go to Trafalgar Square. If you go to New York, you go to Times Square. See where I am going with this? The Grand Place has stunning buildings and lots of interesting bars, restaurants and shops around its sides and in the immediate area. You have to go here!

The buildings and cobblestone area are amazing. Would have loved to have seen it with the flowers in the square. Surrounded by cafes and restaurants, and very very clean.
