We were hoping for a central park or Hyde Park atmosphere, but not here. It is fine, on a sunny day a nice place to hangout but not a must see.

Very nice park just outside the centre of Brussels. Some large shady areas, large grassed areas, but also monumental buildings including the massive triumphal arch with massive Belgian flag. Well worth a stroll. And worth visiting the museums.

A local friend took us on a walking tour of the city. This was one of the highlights. The representation that it had reflected the impact that the last two wars had on Belgium. Take time to visit this beautiful monument and gardens.

The museum has interesting items of several cultures, including an amazing "moai" from Easter Island (Chili). When you come in, it's like being in a grandious museum of the past, with items displayed in a conventional and traditional way; it reminded me those I visited when I was a school child. Some rooms need definitely a good remodeling! The shop... More

we had a quick picnic at the park. It is near the European zone, so is full of employees having lunch and enjoying the good weather. It is a nice park, a little bit far from the touristic zone.

We visited this place around early morning at about 8am. This was a brilliant place to visit for people who wanna picnic and also sports freaks since it has some good jogging places around. We clicked some brilliant pictures which has come out quite beautiful. It's an ideal place to spend like an hour and chill while clicking picture!

Classic garden with a symmetric plan. Traffic is still allowed around the arch. The main asset of the parc is probably not the open space but the 3 museums, the views from the arch and the Horta-Lambeaux Pavilion. Part of the dream of King Leopold II to turn Brussels into one of the leading capitals of Europe.

A nice place to relax a bit but nothing extraordinary. However it is the largest open space in the area, so it is much appreciated
