You thought the little boy that was doing it's business was busy? Well guess again. There's always a queue to touch the statue, make sure you clean your hands after but a quick trip to this statue won't hurt.

It's said that if you run this statue, it'll bring you good luck. Well we did. Just be sure to sanitise your hands afterwards. LOL! It's just off the grand place. Very easy to locate

We were on a walking tour and would have missed this if it hadn't been pointed out on the free walking tour just of Grand Place, it is actually on the side of a building, you are meant to rub her arm/hand for good luck.

Locals do stop and rub this statue for luck. The history of the man this plaque/statue memorializes gives some context to the history of the Grand Place and Belgium as a whole.

Located within the grand place is this statue dedicated to Lord Kruikenburg a citizen of the city, who is said to have driven the flemings from the city. During a visit be sure to touch the laying figure as it brings luck.

This monument is just as you leave the Grand Place and walk towards Manequin Piss. It is believed to bring good luck, if you touch it. Usually, crowded, as too many tourists around

The sculpture is a monument to a local hero, who is unlikely to be known to anyone outside of Brussels. In that context, it's a worthy monument. It supposedly brings luck and grants the wishes of all who touch it. Many tourists like to rub...More
