This cathedral is probably the best know cathedral in Brussels due to its importance as a cathedral but also due to its sheer size and ornateness, huge pillars, wooden furniture and artwork.

It is a typical cathedral with frescoes on mirrors and the naves have the charasteristic of Brabantine Gothic style. Well worth a visit, and are for proxximity to the Grand Place (less than 5 minutes) makes it an unmissable stop.
