A self-guided tour which costs €7 and included two small sample. The brewery is compact but interesting. You can buy a reasonably priced bottle at the end, however I have visited twice and neither time been able to by the type of Cantillon I wanted-maybe turn up early if you are there for a particularly popular variety. The brewery is... More

Brought my partner to Brussels for a surprise trip away for her birthday. Our fifth trip to Bristol, this time we stayed at the Pullman hotel at Midi station. Looking at what there was near the hotel, I discovered the Cantillon brewery was just a 5 minute walk - it had to be done! We arrived around lunch time to... More

Anyone that has a basic understanding of beer and the process of brewing will be captivated by a visit to Cantillon. It's one of the very few remaining spontaneous fermentation breweries left in Belgium and it produces a limited number of beers for the local market. The brewery is located in a back street quite close to Midi rail station... More

This place takes their beers seriously, its like wine beer, real lambic, all natural, organic process. Loved it, the service was amazing.

We love beer so this is a must go place to taste lambisque types of beer. It is the only brewery using this method in Brussels so the taste will be different but still pretty good. At the end they give a three small glasses to try.

Sure this place is off the beaten path and not in the nicest part of Brussels but you'd be doing yourself a disservice to not venture out a visit this old, authentic, charming brewery pumping out world class, highly sought after beer. This isn't a Coors Light tour, this is real hand crafted spontaneous beer but is still accessible for... More

... in a fully functioning brew house where you get to guide yourself through the whole process and their work rooms, watching people work. Fascinating process, interesting historic product - lambing. You have to check it out. It's authentic and not cheesy touristy.

I'm really glad we went here, what a unique place! We arrived just before 12 on a Saturday, just in time for the English language intro to the tour. You pay 7 euros, and get a booklet and two vouchers for samples. They provide some helpful context at the beginning of the tour, and then allow you to explore at... More

The Cantillon brewery is unique and nothing short of a walhalla for beer lovers and lovers of sour beer (gueuze style) in particular. Many people don't appreciate the sour, vinegar taste though, so if you plan a visit, make sure this is really your type of beer. If not, you might get very disappointed. When I first visited in 2004... More

Must see and taste if you are a beerlover!!! Very special sour deep taste of one of the heritages of Brussels. Drink it very cold in the summer.
