Only 15 minutes for the Grand Place and with a quiet charm of its own, Grand Sablon has some lovely shops, lively bars and a regular antique market. It is also on the route of the Winter parade as we found on Sunday night! Worth visiting.

That place has an atmosphere. A beautiful place and streets nearby from the Palais de Justice and up to the Museum's district. There is something special here, something authentic that you can't find close to the Grand Place. Probably much less tourists?!

This very place is very romantic, full of bars with terraces all year round, of restaurants and also of traditional Belgium chocolate selling shops. The buildings are quite interesting and at both ends a nice church looks as if... More

The Place du Grand Sablon is in the historic centre of Brussels and just a 12-munute walk from Central station. There are lots of cafes and small restaurants to choose from together with a number of shops including a Louboutin store. If you want to taste the best chocolates, just visit Pierre Marcolini. The Church of Our Blessed Lady of... More
