This neighbourhood was part of the City Sightseeing Bus tour. We arrived at this place around 4+ in the evening. All shops were closed, except for grocery stores. There were people hanging around the streets just staring at other people and us. Didn't get a...More

The attraction is the whole quarter. Parking on the street is possible but sparse. There is a lot to look and see. A lot of bars, restaurant and shops are located there. The architecture of the buildings is interesting, like in nouveau art style.

Great place to go for a weekend stroll (many shops are closed on weekdays): there's lots of vintage clothing stores, antique furniture places, a flea market on Place du Jeu de Balle, many restaurants and cafés, tattoo parlours... Typical Brussels district - must see.

Lively, good weather than nice terraces with good food and drinks. If you need antics or art all shops and possibilities are in this place.

It's nice flea market with many second hand stuff. At first sight you may think there's nothing interesting, but after some searching you can buy great glasses and plates and vinyls from 60's only for 2,5euro! Don't expect there any antiques.
