There’s a fantastic atmosphere here and a great beer list. Go easy on the large glasses as it’s potent stuff. Some snacks - from tit bits like plates of cheese and salami to croque monsieur. This is old school Belgium hospitality at its best.

It's definitely worth visiting his bar, though it can be rather crowded at times. Not the best place for a quiet drink but a good beer selection makes up for it.

La Mort Subite not only has a nice choice of local beers on offer yet it is this original Beer Hall's history and charm that really makes it a great place to enjoy a beer.

We always pick this place to meet up with friends for a late night date night. It always seems packed, but people come and go so you might have to wait 5-7 minutes to be seated. The staff may seem like they are not paying...More

The place is so hystorical and nice! So many beers options. You can pretend to be centuries behind. There are not a lot of appetizers choices, but it is ok! Who likes beer and go to Brussels must visit this place!

Very nice Belgian bar very close to the centre but slightly off the beaten track. Great atmosphere and good selection of Belgian beers.

Surprised people say this is a tourist trap—sure, it’s a historic spot which is near the tourist zone so I’m sure gets its share. But we stopped by in the middle of the week early evening and it was filled with locals coming in from...More

A pleasant, casual place that has been owned by the same family for years! It's a nice place for a drink or a snack, just to sit back and watch the crowd. We visit this place every time we are in Brussels!

This bar should be part of Brussels' 20th Century History. When you walk in you are faced with a long hall of a room filled with narrow tables. The decor is, as the menu explains, original 1928. There is only table service by mature staff...More
