It is really sad that the botanic garden is not always open - I really loved it! The garden is beautiful, the buildings are great, the plants, too - the only problem is the crowed. On the other hand it is really cheap (2 euro...More

If you are keen on architecture, on horticulture. If you enjoy a walk in a fairy surrounding, don't hesitate. The guided version is full of interesting anecdotes (wait for the story about the train station)

impeccably kept show green houses, true period piece kept in its historical magnificence with incredible collection of fuchsia's and geraniums, but the real treat is the tropical forst 'room' at the end ... not to miss, when the green houses are open to the public...More

It is crowded but fun to have a visit if you love greenery around. It was probably set up by Royal family so it's a peek into the colonial past of belgium.

I'm very much in two about my visit. On the one hand, the gardens are gorgeous (pictures attached); on the other, it left a very bitter taste, on more than one level, I just can't seem to shake. Because the gardens are only open for...More

As far as I know it's only open to the public 3 weeks during spring time. Which is actually very sad because this place is truly an amazing place. So the answer is no, there is nothing to see during autumn/winter time.
