I was there in September 2016. We went in there on the spur of the moment and bought tickets for the next show, which was in 20 minutes, for 7 euros per ticket. The chocolatier giving the show was really entertaining and I learned a lot! The audience fits around 20 people so it's quite private and up close. The... More

Visited the Rue du Lombard shop recently to attend the demonstration which takes place Saturday and Sunday afternoons. There are many shops offering Belgian chocolate in Brussels and this one was a great find! It is not far from the main square in the center and easy to locate. There are many creative chocolate pralines and edible works of art... More

We were fortunate enough to be in Brussels over a weekend, and for the Sunday we booked a 7 Euro praline making demonstration. This is not to be missed, the host spoke good English and it was an entertaining way to spend an hour. The complimentary hot chocolate was divine, and the samples were top class. Obviously we bought some... More

I did not have the opportunity to taste the chocolate here as I had bought a ton of chocolate from Mary's which is next door prior to entering this shop. A friend of mine had bought chocolate with lavender. I was very impressed by the chocolate sculptors - it was the main thing that caught my eye which cause me... More

I would highly recommend this to everyone who are fond of chocolate and want to know more about the origin of this delight. Besides the history of chocolate, Aden gave a great overview about the health benefits of eating chocolate. All of this was packed in an amusing workshop format which lasted 1 hour.

We visited Planete Chocolat today as a group outing with my company. We were able to make our own chocolates to take home, taste chocolates, and then experience a chocolate demonstration. The people working in the store and the chocolate chefs were excellent and very talented. They make chocolates by hand here and I can tell you that each piece... More

Our group decided to enjoy the chocolate lecture at Planete Chocolate, which, at 7euro each was a great bargain. The informative lecture started with some hot chocolate and chocolate samples, and the host was funny and engaging. There is audience participation and I learned a lot about chocolate making. We went back before we left and purchased some specific chocolates... More

I spent the summer travelling around Europe and was always trying the chocolate in each new country. Upon arriving in Belgium I heard about a place called Planete Chocolat. I went to the shop it looked much like any other chocolate shop I had been into. My wife and I were offered a chocolate to try and looked around the... More

On our company retreat in Brussels, we were taken to Planete Chocolat for a 1.5 hour chocolate making workshop. After a delicious mug of hot chocolate we were dressed in aprons and taken to a cool room where liquid chocolate was running from a tap. The lively chocolate maker who led the workshop gave us a highly entertaining demonstration of... More

We booked a chocolate demonstration and learned so much history about it! The best part, the demonstrator was so entertaining and we got to try chocolates as well as enjoy hot cocoa while enjoying the show! A must do in Brussels.
