CON's first: #1 caution I have is regarding transport to this park. If you are driving yourself, fine, you will be used to the CR roads. If you are paying for transportation, I highly recommend that you get a driver or taxi all to yourself....More

This park was amazing from the animal sanctuary to the hiking to the lunch. The only downfall was that the drive was atrocious and I️ was so car sick from it that I️ wasn’t able to fully enjoy the park.

I wasn’t sure what to expect going to La Paz, but it ended up being one of my favorite places that we visited on our Costa Rica trip. It is definitely worth the high entrance fee. There is a lot to see and do there...More

Entrance fee, I find it very expensive! But when you explore the whole place, it was worth. The different plants and animals in the garden are well maintained. They have a lot of staff who take care of these. I actually appreciate the construction of...More

Nice waterfall and a great pitstop on the way from La Fortuna back to the airport. The waterfall is about 200 feet from the bridge on the highway and is a good size.

I took a mid-morning tour with a guide named Olman who was super accommodating and knowledgeable. He picked me and other people up at the airport and we drove to the Waterfalls. The scenery getting there was beautiful (we stopped for coffee at a plantation)....More

Depends what time of year you go. We went late April/early May and it was relatively dry. Costa Rica is essentially a rain forest, lol that pretty much says it all.
