Absolutely fabulous and extensive collections with a particular beautifull and important collection of woodden polychrome religious sculptors dating back to the Middle Ages, and all the details of the previous principaute de Liege, its political and social structure long before the first constitution. Impressive!

The medieval art collection is one of the best anywhere ... This is a gem ! Go and visit nearby the magnificent romanesque Saint Barthelemy church with its famous basptismal font !

This is by far a top quality museum worth at least two visits as it's very large. The displays are wonderful and explanations for some displays in multiple languages. You may also have an audio tour( for a fee) but I found it more enjoyable...More

If you are interested in Ancient Egypt or Rome, this would be the best place for you. They also have an amazing collection of weapons, so don't miss that!!
