We are biased- we love the art of the Middle Ages. A tape tour would have completed the experience, but it was worth every penny of €5. Highlights included: the famous bird reliquary; a small stained glass window, featuring the Virgin with the tenderest of...More

If you are interested in very old religious art and in particular gold reliquaries and wooden carvings you will find this small museum worthwhile. It is situated within the city on the main shopping street. There is also interesting information about the building itself and...More

Namur is not the most beautiful of cities, but is worth visiting for this museum alone - if you have a guide book more than a couple of years old, note the treasure is no longer housed in the convent but in a small civic...More

This is a must. You have to see this collection if you are in town. The details you can see in the works are worth cooling to Namur for itself. The collection is displayed in nice, new room.
