It was closed during my visit. I enjoyed however, the statement engraved at its outside walls. It says, "If i can't dance, I don't want to be part of your revolution". This intrigued me, made me want to see a show here before I leave...More

Saw The Nutcracker here, absolutely stunning venue! UK theatres could learn a lot from the very reasonable bar prices!

Spectacular setting for a scientific meeting. The loges and balconies are spectacular. The large dining/reception space upstairs with ornate decor and incredible ceiling was an incredible venue for viewing posters and dining. Very special setting for a scientific meeting!

Since a while it's possible to visit the opera with a guide and it's worth to do so. You get a tour through the building, behind the scene and also on stage. The opera is a beautiful building.
