There were probably more plants than flowers at the Sunday Flower today but still lovely to wander around this lovely public space along with all the other happy people. There's a lovely band rotunda and today a brass band was much in evidence offering a...More

On this former market place, you can still see an old music podium, but closeby there are 'real' concert halls such as the Handelsbeurs and the Flemish Opera. And on Sunday, there is still some 'market' activity.

The square is elegant and you clearly notice that this must be the most upscale part of the city. Not much to see or do but as the city center is not that big, it is surely worth passing by it.

This place remains nice. In the past all banks were centralised with their local HQ. Now the buildings are transferred into lofts. But you still can enjoy the flowermarket on sunday morning and having your glas of champagne on the small champagne bar.

We spent a delightful two hours at the Flower Market. Spectacular offerings, great people watching ...many with well behaved dogs and an orchestra that has played since the 1800's. I suspect the musicians have changed over the years. Anyway, we have been to many Flower...More

There's no reason to go to this square unless you go on Sunday mornings for the flower market and then it's a beautiful! There's so much to see and smell!

The Kouter is a nice square surrounded with historical buildings. Every sunday morning there is a big flowermarket going on here. Theres also a kiosk where they play music on certain days. Few restaurants and cafés where you can have a drink around the square.
