Go to this small bar each time we visit Bruges. The house beer is fantastic and at 11.5%, it can easily slur your speech! Has become extremely popular over the last few years and I think it may have lost a little bit of ‘charm’...More

The title of this review is deliberately typed in capitals to emphasise my sentiment. We visited Bruges with our daughter and her husband. They had visited previously and we implored them to show us this cafe bar. We visited twice during our trip. You really...More

Probably one of my favorite three bars in the world. Very cozy pub with 2 levels that doesn't seat too many people...but that's a good thing...unless you're there when it is full. The De Garre tripel is one of my Top 10 beers on the...More

I always come here when in Brugge. It's tucked down an alleyway off the main square. Order the house beer, Garre, at 11.5% alcohol, served with gouda cubes, or if you ask for it, sausage

The place is nice, but you will find no local people there. It is expensive and just for tourists. Would not recommend.

I did some research on bars before and this was one of the recommended ones to visit. It’s just down an alley of a busy street easily missed. I think that’s the charm of it. 3 floors, traditional layout. Great selection of beers; try the...More

They generally give you cheese with every drink you order, there were some nice looking cured meats as well, high grade bar snacks, but don't expect a three course meal.
