Outstanding day that was both too much and not enough. Nathan is a superb guide, knowledgeable and personable; he fluidly provides both context and insight. The impact of what he shares coupled with actually standing at the battle sites & memorials is profound, but there is so much to absorb that it left me reeling despite possessing a fairly extensive... We were fortunate to attend the Last Post Ceremony on the 30,000th holding of this poignant and deeply moving event. It was a high profile evening with many VIP's at the Menin Gate and with 1,000's of others we congregated in the nearby Town Square. We had been collected at our Hotel in Brugge by Nathan and conveyed to the... More

Our family of five enjoyed a fantastic tour of WW1 memorials with Nathan. He runs a wonderful service - he picked us up at the hotel and took us to some extremely interesting locations. The personal nature of the tour was perfect and his knowledge of World War 1 is amazing. Our family is still talking about everything we saw... More

What a day! we were picked up by our guide, Nathan dead on time. It was a fulll day and Nathans knowledge of History, not just of the First World war but much much more. His explanations of battle field strategy was amazing. The day included a fabulous lunch in the beautiful town of Ypres. All in all a great... More

We did a full day plus the Last Post Tour. Nathan was amazing, his knowledge surpassed any book or website you could turn to. He knew the area, the history and much more. Food was really good, the places and museums excellent - couldn't have asked for a better tour or guide. Would definitely recommend this trip.

After days follow the le Tour d France we travelled to flanders to tour WW1 battlefields eg Ypres, Paschendale, Hooge etc. Diedrichs knowledge, enthusiasm and passion is self evident and constantly informative without being overly complex. It was the 30000th consecutive night of the last post played to commemorate the fallen, thr ceremony was excellent, sombre and dignified. The people of... More

We visited the war memorial and the trenches on a bike trip through the area. The world war I memorial was very interesting and wish I had more time to visit all 22 floors! My kids got a kick out of walking through the maze of trenches.

We did this so I could pay my respects to both my uncles who were soldiers in the 1 St world war.the graves and the site are well maintained and loved and so respected by all the team that look after it. Very humbling as you do not realise just how many young men lost there lives

Battlefields Tour picked me up at the hotel and returned me. Great service. Nathan's knowledge of WW1 is amazing. His tour is the best. I did the day tour and the evening one. Both will always remain within my mind as unforgettable moments. If you want the best tour this is the one to select

We were picked up at our hotel by Nathan along with two other couples. Excellent tour as our guide was very knowledgeable. Nice to have this semi-private tour. He drove us throughout the country side showing us details of the battle, tour at Ipers, very nice afternoon lunch.
