The Basilica is in the square, so it's hard to miss or skip. It's an interesting piece of architecture.

Gorgeous architecture both inside and out. A very spiritual place and at given times, gives the public the opportunity to pray alongside of the artifact.

We went for mass here and were surprised to hear such a melodious service. The church is absolutely beautiful but it really comes to life with the wonderful tenor voices of the priests during mass (half an hr). You can't take pictures during the service, obviously, but though it was all in Flemish, it was truly a wonderful experience. The... More

The Basilica is an astonishing piece of architecture. There's an entrance fee, haven't been inside, but even from outside it's totally worth seeing!

I don't know if it is really the blood of Christ but the experience is cool. You enter and go up some stairs. It wasn't very crowded. You enter a church. There is a short line and you wait to go up and see it. There are a lot of people praying and some singing. It feels like something from... More

Beautiful building for a short visit - you don't need long. Check the times that the relic is on display.

Beautiful building which dominates in Central Square. Although in October the area was full of tourists. Caution in Parking. Better to visit from Brussels by train

From the outside, you can be forgiven for missing this place altogether, as the entrance is tucked away in the corner of the square. Free entry is always good, and there was the opportunity to "donate" 1 euro to see the relic that is the "Blood of Christ", in a vial. Worth a quick visit if you're passing but sadly,... More
