Small but perfectly formed

Great green space with lovely walk around the canal and through the trees. Romantic Sunday morning stroll.

The guide said it is called the lake of the lovers. It's a pretty lake on the entrance into the old part of town. It's great for pictures.

Minnewater lake is called the Lake of love. Understandable, it really is stunning, Minnewater park is a good way to chill out and have a calm walk away from the crowded centre of Bruges. Good for the soul I think.

A breathtakingly beautiful area of the city. Bruges is a wonderful city with great architecture, but to get away from all of that (and really only a short walk from the centre) was superb and very refreshing. There is a lovely cafe/bar close to the waters edge. Beware they only accept cash - no card payments. Which was a little... More

This is a really nice spot to relax, just on the edge of the historic old town. Lovely to stroll around and incredibly pretty. Plenty of places to take pictures.

I was here only alone but I still felt very romantically. Very nice park. Should be your last stop of the day in Brugges.

Whilst in Bruges, we decided too avoid the tourist things, it shopping, drinking the beers, visiting chocolate shops. We wanted too see the Bruges back streets, architecture, parks, and minnewater lake was beautiful, we did get too see it on a warm autumnal day, but wow

Nice area, water surrounded by trees The place has a history and is beautiful. We went in autumn with leaves changing colour and falling, it added to the picture. Just walk around, or sit down and absorb the ambiance It is peaceful, very welcome compared to the nearby overcrowded city center
