What a great place to take a break at one of the many outdoor terraces sipping a beer and watching the world go by. All the buildings you see are hundreds of years old and are kept in good repairs. A most enjoyable respite from the rat race.

We were pleasantly surprised when we walked to the Markt heading to the Historium on a Wednesday morning to find a bustling farmers market. The fruits and veggies were picture perfect. Plenty of fresh cheeses and pastries to buy as well. A real neat experience. Around noon it is completely gone and you still can enjoy the marvelous ancient architecture.

A beautiful space in the centre of historic Bruges, where many of the buildings date back more than 500 years.
