Very interesting and value for money - on a cold day it was good to have something indoors. Quite quiet when we visited and you can have your photo taken and dress up.

The best food museum in Brugge. You must go to see the history of chocolate as well as the amazing sculptures made from chocolate. Lots of free samples are available too.

We bought the entire experience - the Historium musuem which is really good (the story drags a little bit, but the special effects are fantastic). The virtual reality is amazing - an experience i have never had before so if you get the chance to do it! Then to top it of it includes a beer overlooking the square. For... More

Two seniors visited, and apart from the fact their are some steps to climb, this is a quality experience. 27 Euro for two tickets made us think a little, but when in Brugge !! The story of Van Dyck's assistant was nicely put together and the sounds, film quality and smell of the times pleasantly put together. The whole experience... More

Thai was an innovative and wonderfully imaginative way to give visitors a feeling for what Bruges was like in its heyday. Telling a story with imagery and music and 3D movie exhibits, we walk through a day in the life of an artist's apprentice in the important port city. The virtual reality show is a Must see add on .... More

In this museum they focus on one day in 1434 (?) and through storytelling with smells, sounds, audiovisual material, a quiz give you an idea what life was like in medieval Bruges. Good audio tour, great visual imaging of what the waterhall looked like.Nice to be able to step out on the balcony and look out over the market square.

We got here and got a very fakey vibe. At the price and having got that tourist trap feeling, we opted out. This place cost more than the Royal Museums in Brussels. So, can't say it's a rip off but can't say that it's worth it either. The Duvelorium bar at the top is nice with a good beer selection... More

This attraction, in the main square, brings the history of Brugge to live by taking you back to an imaginary day in its rich past and following the progress of a young man collecting a visitor and goods from the port. You follow his story through a series of themed rooms and AV presentations which was professional and enjoyable

2 boys (10 & 13 years old) loved this - so did we! We walked through the various rooms, watching a historical story in movie format, based on the creation of one of Bruge's famous paintings: The Madonna of Canon van der Paele by the famous Jan van Eyck A wonderful way to glean an insight into a historical city,... This was a nice attraction. We would have liked some live characters involved in the story as we proceeded through the story rooms. We did appreciate places in most rooms to sit.
