This was a slightly quirky museum that is also part of the Choco story. I went almost purely because it sounded cool or at least different. Expected a couple of rooms with pretty lamps - Wrong!! The collection is vast and beautifully laid out. There...More

Amazing collection of lamps since the very beginning of light use by the humans. Unique exemplars are presented widely. It's quite and allows you to stare and explore every single piece of the exhibition. Worth visit. Up to an hour long.

There are over 60,000 lamps in this museum and we went there for the sheer uniqueness of it. We enjoyed the videos done by the curator. I've never seen that many lamps in my life but it was neat to see a collection that large....More

We entered The Lamp Museum on the Bruges city card, so value for money wasn't really a factor for us. Whilst we were in the choco-story, it made sense to tag this on for no extra. It is worth saying most people see The Lamp...More

If you are visiting the Choco-story, and have a Brugge City Card, then don't miss this! It is a surprising little museum that charts the onset of how we came to have lighting - with quite a few interesting facts that you will not have...More

Obscure exhibition and quite enlightening. Worth the visit for the pure audacity of the curator to exhibit such a display.
