When googling "rum bar" this appeared... €10 entry including a free wine or beer? A large old stately home containing "artwork" to put the shivers up anyone's spine. It truly creaped my partner and I out...but in a wierd enjoyable way. Go visit..if you can...More

The house has a painting of Hitler on the first floor with the words 'sig heil' on them. It also contains statues and paintings of black minstrels from the 20th century. A set of black minstrel statues have chains around their necks at the entrance,...More

We loved this. Unique, bizarre and loads of fun. Don't google about it or look at pictures just go and experience it for yourself.

I’m not sure what to say about Retsin’s other than I thoroughly enjoyed such a bizarre experience! Unlike anything else... some might take that as a bad thing, personally I enjoy old creepy s*!# so it well up my street! Retsin himself really sets the...More

Visited here on a Sunday evening having seen the reviews on Tripadvisor. £10 each gets you entry to the “lucifernum” and a drink at the bar. You are free to walk around the (freezing cold!) house, exploring each room and admiring the unusual paintings....which I...More

This quirky, artsy place defies description. Some will love it and others hate it - probably none in the middle. This is not just a bar, but a house populated with quirky props, Edgar Allen Poe referential texts, and associated artwork. Personally, it worked for...More
