That this church was fully rebuild after the First World War is an incredible testament to the belgiums and the craftsmen. Stunning stained glass and a brutal picture of Catholics being murdered makes this well worth a visit.

Lovely church with fantastic stained glass. Quite simple but exceedingly beautiful . Enjoy the atmosphere and remember that it was completely rebuilt after World War One.

Very quiet when we visited it. What an impressive building for this little town! Sacral atmosphere, we I like in these fast times.

A fine cathedral. Well worth a visit. Its difficult to believe that its a reconstruction. The vaulted ceiling and stained glass are amazing.

The imposing external aspect of this cathedral is only shaded by the beauty to be found inside. The sheer size is enormously impressive and the altars, the artwork and the requirements for worship in different ways are all first class. Not to be missed!!
