Popped down to the Ship Inn for a drink at 4pm. We were turned away even though we had been before twice during the week at the same time. We were made aware that there was a staff issue and that they needed to prepare for the evening. Wouldn’t have minded but people were being served drinks and it’s supposed to be a pub not a full blown restaurant. Left not happy as a pub on the beach should be bringing in people not turning them away…

We visited for a couple of evening meals as a family. A reasonable range of beers and the food was very good. I enjoyed the gammon particularly. Very nice staff, always a smile, chatty, and very helpful (which was why we went back again). Great views and location. Also very clean and tidy inside. Prices are in the £10-£13 mark for the usual pub food with a few options of something slightly different. The kids menu was very good (good portions) and they loved the £1 churros...…

Lovely meal with my two brother, Saturday so I was very busy but all food came out perfect and on time. Calamari starter was lush!
