An extremely interesting visit which you need to seek out as it is off the main road and on the electrified Island Line. The station is an original building dating back to the old steam days. As well as connections to other towns in the...More

Our group of four arrived at 15.40, planning a quick visit and look for another day. We well aware that the site closed at 16.00. Tight but do-able. What we weren't expecting was to be told that "We close at 4, it takes me 30...More

The small museum is interesting, and there is also a nice little cafe, and a small section to purchase souvenirs. The tour of the signal box can be arranged for a £1 donation, and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. I have visited twice...More

Great little place to visit. Takes you back to the days when the railways ruled. A signal box tour is also available, or try the tea rooms. All run by voluntary staff.

Didn't really know that this place existed but we were on a train and I saw a sign saying that the signal box was open for tours. My son had a go at pulling some signals and we found out later that the man showing...More

What can I say? Previous reviews have said it all. Not a lot to do or see in Brading so this little station was a couple of hours well spent. Well done to the volunteers who keep it going.

The highlight for me was looking over the restored signal box with a very knowledgeably guide. The main museum was very interesting. Shame about the coffee.
