Beja's archeological history since the Iron Age captured in a single room with a glass floor over mainly Roman remains. It's very well presented with the sort of concise explanations that makes a pop in visit very rewarding.

A good way of keeping Roman Beja alive (under a glass floor). Written explanations were good and there is a further display about Outeira do Circo, a late bronze age settlement near Mombeja to the north west of Beja.

Thank lynne b
