This museum is one that should be more interesting to visit than it is. There are many interesting items but it looks like they need more professional curation to display and explain things with the detail a person interested in history desires.
This museum is a must see. The museum is housed in a former convent and within has an XVII century church which is spectacular. The baroque carvings are gilded and there are beautiful tiles too. The tiled walkways are beautiful.
The convent was founded in the second half of the 15th century for the order of the sisters of Santa Clara. From outside you could be forgiven for thinking it was a Moorish palace.

Good range of middle ages art, sone prehistoric pieces, wide range of curious things from different ages in the region. Wonderful church altar. However, in need of some restoration. No toilet facilities inside!
