There are some very beautiful elements in this church. The painted vaulted ceiling, the stonework, the gilded woodcarvings, the marble main altar and the ravishing pipe organ make it an absolute must see.
A church is a church, but as far as this one goes it is in pretty good condition and if you are in the town it is worth a visit but i would not go out of my way just to come here for it....More
It's another church. Not a very big one, not a special one. It has what you would expect of a church. Theres plenty of sitting and kneeling space. There's a lot of statues around the walls. And there's places where you can leave your money.
Elvas maybe small but it has numerous churches. The cathedral is situated in a large plaza and is small when compared to other cathedrals but still worth climbing the steps to see inside.

This is a nice Cathedral in the center of Elvas. If you are walking the historic center this is a stop worth making.
