Beautiful little church covered in incredible tiles. We paid 8 euros per person and got entry to the church and an old private mansion with a very eclectic art/artifact collection. Visiting Evora, you will have really a choice, to visit some extraordinary churches, each one of them worthwile to see. So if it fits into your visiting plans, go for it.

This small church is simply stunning with walls covered in 17th century blue and white tiles and a magnificent gold altar. Even more beautiful than most of the famous monasteries. It is off the beaten tourist track but easy to find near the Roman Temple. Don't miss it!

Unique church as main interior is covered in beautiful blue tile work. Peek through two small trapdoors in the floor to view, incredibly deep and large well. Admission Fee is steep.
