If you want to find everything edible and drinkable (wine, olive oil, etc.) from the area (and beyond) in one place, Divinus is a great choice. Not cheap, but not overpriced either. And you can find some inexpensive pottery in the market next door.

Close by the Market & well worth looking in. We were introduced to an Alentejo Wine (Red) ' Zagalo' ('09 Reserva) - which is 'a find'.

This lovely shop is located just behind the town market. The entrance is adorned with wine bottle strung with Christmas lights and a cork collage. Walk down the stairs and you'll find an expansive selection of wines, salts, honeys, jams, oils and picnic baskets. The...More

A great shop to find everything you need in terms of food: Porto, wines, olives oils, honey, etc. In a great location just under the market. We tasted the olive oils under the expert guidance of the helpful owner/manager. You probably pay a premie versus...More
