Took us a while to find the Termas Romans, or Roman Bath to you and I. We finally found it inside the Council Building! There was a security guard outside, who informed us to go inside. We were expecting something like the Roman baths in Bath, England. There are offices built around this monument would you believe it! You literally walk inside city hall and it’s in the back right hand corner. Free entry and a light comes on to illuminate the baths as you approach. Also close to the cool Évora sign I also added a few pictures of what it looks inside the city building so you’ll know you’re at the right spot …

Not easy to find! you have to enter the municipality building to come accross this small Roman termas. I guess there are more hidden Roman gems in Evora.

Uncovered Roman ruins. It is nice to see that Portugal is preserving ancient Roman History and had to dig through centuries of garbage to uncover these ruins. Much was original Roman works and some restorations. You can imagine what it was like here 3000 years ago.
