It's incredible.. it runs along a steep ridge. The castle is great and the overall feel of the village is wonderful. There are even a few good restaurants to choose from. I'll be back!

It’s not that high- 900m, but it feels higher. Pleasant safe walk around the well preserved castle. It’s about 45 minutes entertainment. Great location and atmosphere.

I just love this place. The view, the structure of the village, the cleanliness, the peacefulness. All perfect.

This is the castle at the topmost part of Marvao. It is very well preserved and a pleasure to walk the ramparts and the various structures.
