    Going down!

    The beach itself is clean and well cared for. However, the area immediately around it has become very low rent. It's wall-to-wall wailing sports bars with tatooed tourists to match.

    Small cove

    Walked from the strip down to praia oura which has a few bars and restaurants in the cove , was going to Albufeira from here so walked across the cliffs and then down the beach which has some fantastic views.

    Not sure on weather in April. It’s closer to the strip than the old town but you can walk to the old town across the beach in about 25 minutes. It’s a good spot for visiting other bays

    I heard someone say that a lot of pkaces close. I know that Hotel Praia Da Aldeia closes the end of October until next season. Sorry can't be more helpful.
