Albufeira old town is my favourite with the seafood restaurants overlooking the beach, main square to sit and watch the world go by and the cliff top hotel bistros with outstanding views.

Had a great time here, weather was good and loads of pubs and restaurants, flat area for wheelchair users, plenty to see and do, loads to look at in shops, mainly tourist tat shops, well worth a visit.

Combination of great beach, old, narrow streets, great restaurants with live music, small shops, ice cream and crepes- what not to like?

too many tourist traps with crazy prices: 4.50€ for a 0.4 litre beer is a shock here in Portugal; when I saw that many places ask for this price, I left the historic center immediately
