I can't understand who all these people are who love this town. We travelled all over the country and adore Portugal, with the exception of Albufeira. For sure, there is a gorgeous beach, great weather and friendly locals, but the positives kind of end there....More

Walked along the beach to reach the Old Town. Good selection of shops and restaurants. Always enjoy visiting here and wandering around the winding streets and we always discover a new little gem of a shop.

Lots of restaurants, cafes, shops and stalls. sometimes pan pipes or other entertainment. On a night it really comes to be a very busy place, some bars open until early morning.

The old town in Albufeira is jammed pack full of over 100 bars, restaurants and shops off two great spacious sandy beaches. Great for relaxing, people watching, eating, drinking, dancing. Plenty of variety too.

Albufeira is split into two parts. The Old and The New. The Old town is much more historical with narrow little streets. It is also more expensive than the new part.
