This coastline continues to through up amazing views. This is one of the best and it is at the beginning or end of the fabulous boardwalk around the cliff tops. Everyone of us loved it.

The journey probably takes twice as long as visiting the 'attraction' unless you want to find a rock to sit on and watch the numerous boat trips below. Worth seeing but it didn't keep our attention for long. There are far more impressive rock formations,...More

We had lunch at the restaurant at Algar Seco, the calamari was gorgeous, a lovely place to sit and rest after a nice walk along the sea view walk.

Definitely worth a visit here, there's a bar at the bottom you can get liquid refreshment at fooling your walk and the views of the sea are amazing! The caves and enclaves are worth visiting alone.

A nice pathwalk from Carvoeiro beach - a wooden path, lighted by night, with several nice benches....a 15 minutes walk and you are gathering at a incredible view - several big gold-brown-red rocks crashed into the Atlantic Ocean - the Algar Seco. Also a very...More

Fabulous setting to watch the sun go down. Can be a little chilly later on. Food very nice - recommend chicken Piri-piri. Bit pricier than some but you are paying for location. Lovely to walk down the boardwalk into Carvoerio to walk off your dinner!...More

This is a handy spot to walk to from Carvoeiro. It's an interestesing rock formation to walk around. The kids can have fun exploring. It's a good spot for Dad to get a pint as well!

Beautiful setting at the end of the boardwalk - we got a drink here - we were going to have lunch but the menu wasn't particularly appealing unless you wanted fish - also there wasn't a seperate smoking area and as non smokers we didn't...More

The boardwalk at Algar Seco is free and there are clifftop walks beyond the Boneca bar. The walk down the hill into Carvoeiro has lovely sea views all the way - but it is a steep walk back! While in Carvoeiro, it is worth... More

Yes Ferraguda is worth a visit. There a regular water taxi from there to Portsmouth. Just 10 minutes travel but we'll worth it. Benajil is also close by with a huge cave you can explore
