There are a LOT of STEPS going down to this beach. If you dont feel up to the steps, you can always take a walk along the cliff tops for some gorgeous photos. Head off in either direction along the coast and have your camera handy. The only problem with this beach is that at high tide there's not much... More

Remote , quiet and spectacular. Absolutely beautiful but beware the tide comes in and could stop you from getting of the beach unless you are prepared to get wet. Beach bar wasn't open ( April)

Stunning views and lovely beach! You can access it from the left side - facing the sea- down the pathway and stairs- make sure keep an eye on the tide if you staying on the beach especially if you decide to go farther down the beach- and you should as it's great- so you don't get stranded. From the car... More

As you park at the (free) car park at the top you can walk across the cliffs or down the well constructed steps to the beach. At the bottom of the steps there is a tiny beach enclosed by cliffs, like the unknowing tourist sheep we are, we followed a family around a cliff face to a magical beach, truly... More

Absolutely beautiful!! So many hiking and viewing spots to see above the cliffs and a staircase that leads down to the beach. Soft sand, beautiful water. A must see!

Praia Marinha - I had put this on my trip itinerary because of the beautiful cliff formations at the beach but we got more than that because of which I am highly recommending it for everyone. At the parking lot, there is a trail head which takes one along the cliffs all the way to towns in the west like... More

The staff is so friendly Beautiful scenery and amazing food. Filet mignon was my favourite followed by the fish of the day. So fresh!

Another lovely spot in the area. Lovely azure blue waters and as it was December it was nice and quiet.

From car park, there are 2 paths. One is a stairway leading down to the beach. the second is a hike to see the elephant grotto formation and further to Benagil. Before you head down to the beach, stop at the fruit vendor in the car park to pick some fresh fruits. Strawberries were amazing! Take them down to the... More

We walked along the cliff tops from Marinha to Benegil and back. About one hour in each direction. The path has been improved a bit since last year but a fire has gone through in one spot and killed some of the trees. Marinha has amongst the best rock formations but many steps down to the beach. Picnic tables are... More
